Board of Directors Meeting
February 8, 2016
CALL TO ORDER – 2015 President, David Miller, called the meeting at his residence at 6 p.m.
Members Present: David Miller, Larry Johnson, Gil Nickles, Holly Miner, Bill Rush, Jim Colgan, Ron Wadley, Kevin Johnson, Jan Rusher. Absent: none
MINUTES – Jim Colgan moved, Gil Nickles seconded a motion to approve the December 7, 2015 TCV BoD Minutes. MOTION PASSED
TREASURER’S REPORT – Bill Rush, 2015 Treasurer, submitted the following documents which are attached to these minutes: TCV HOA Balance Sheet as of January 31, 2016; TCV HOA Inc. P & L YTD Comparison, January 2016; TCV HOA Inc. P & L Budget vs. Actual, January 2016.
President Miller mentioned the petty cash fund on hand. Jan Rusher requested approval for reimbursement of expenses incurred for serving secretary. Most expenses involve cost of copies for agendas, minutes and nametags for meetings. The board agreed. Receipts will be submitted at the end of the year.
ELECTION OF OFFICERS FOR 2016 – Nominated were: David Miller, President; Jim Colgan, Vice President; Jan Rusher, Secretary; Bill Rush, Treasurer. Larry Johnson moved, Ron Wadley seconded the motion to elect these individuals to serve as officers of the TCV HOA BoD for year 2016. MOTION PASSED.
ORGANIZATION OF COMMITTEE CHAIR/Members for 2016 as follows:
Architectural Committee: Ron Wadley, Chairman; Jim Colgan, Gil Nickles, Larry Johnson and Holly Minter were appointed.
Fence: Gil Nickles, Jim Colgan, Co-Chairmen.
Landmark/Lawn America (including front, common property, mowing, entry maintenance, watering, seasonal color, snow removal: Kevin Johnson, Chairman; Seasonal holiday decorations w/ProLights, Jim Colgan assisting
Streets, Curbs, Gutters: Kevin Johnson, Chairman, Bill Gagle, member

OLD BUSINESS – Follow up on earlier suggestion to research making TCV a 55+ community. Jan Rusher volunteered to research asking for assistance from Michael & Laurie Bennett and report at next meeting.
Discussion held on need for tree trimming along Mingo, noting expense is a budgeted item for 2016 in the event dead limbs are identified and removal deemed necessary according to arborist opinion.
